However, that pungent flavour becomes quite mild and more balanced once it is being used in cooking. That's the only way that I can honestly describe it. It's quite distinctive, I would say it like a much stronger flavour than parsley. Chadon beni has a more intense, pungent flavour/taste that is long lasting.
